Association of IL2-330 Gene Polymorphism with Lung Cancer

Cytokines are secreted or membrane-bound proteins that act as mediators of intercellular signaling to regulate homeostasis the immune system. They produced by cells innate and adaptive immunity in response microbes tumor antigens. Although there several studies showing IL2-330 gene polymorphism is associated with many types cancer, far we know, a few study investigating association between lung cancer polymorphism. In this study, role pathogenesis was investigated. 96 patients who were diagnosed age sex matched healthy subjects participated study. Genomic DNA isolated using blood isolation kit determined polymerase chain reaction-confronting two pairs primer method. When analyzed for group according polymorphism, genotype allele frequencies found be similar both groups (p>0,05). As result; no statistically significant difference groups. Considering ethnic diversity needs verified other populations.
